New Delhi: British Prime Minister David Cameron on his visit to
India had a short interaction with Bollywood star Aamir Khan. Mr PM was so much
impressed with the actor that he ended up inviting the latter to his residence
in London.
The duo had a small time talk at an educational institute in the capital. When the meeting was over, Aamir apparently received a call the same evening to visit PM's residence at 10 Downing Street whenever he flies to London next.
Aamir and his wife Kiran Rao gladly accepted the invitation and are expected to visit Cameron by the end of this year.
Aamir was the surprise drop-in, as the Indian ambassador for Unicef when Cameron visited Janki Devi Mahavidyalaya Colle
David faced a barrage of questions from students at a girls'
college here on job opportunities in his country for women from India. Both of
them were greeted with loud cheers. Students mainly had questions on gender
equality and educational opportunities.
