Ranbir Kapoor-Priyanka Chopra-Illeana's Barfi! is the official Oscar nomination for a round that will see a stiff competition among scores of films.  If the film gets selected there for the final round, it will be India's first Oscar nominee after Lagaan.  Thus, there is a long way to go for the film to acquire the status of Lagaan.

Ranbir Kapoor was admittedly belated and attributed it to the team effort.  He is not overwhelmed with joy because he is aware that it is yet to be selected for the main entry.

If the film gets selected for the final five, he will take advice from Aamir Khan about how to go ahead.

He has stated that the makers are expecting the film to cross the Rs. 500 cr mark, which seems an impossibility.  The 85th Academy Awards will take place on February 24, 2013.

A new film will be coming up in the combination of Naga Chaitanya and Sunil. We all know about Linguswami who is one of the prominent Kollywood director and also known as a screen writer and a film producer. He Recently directed a Tamil film titled ‘Vettai’ which became a big success in Tamil Nadu State.

The same movie is being remade in Telugu which features Akkineni Naga Chaitanya and comedy star Sunil in lead roles. Bellamkonda Suresh is producing this film and it will be shot by ‘Dolly’.

Sunil and Chaitanya will be seen as brothers in film. Sunil is the elder and he is sensitive to violence. Naga Chaitanya plays a violent role. Sunil meets a serious incident and later loses fear and becomes physically stronger through training from his younger brother.

Sources say that the film is going to start its shooting from 26^th June 2012.
